after seeing the movie ANACONDA I seen more snakes than I care to see...though I realize it is only a movie sure scares me to think somewhere there is one even half the size of the snake in ANACONDA.
 
you git the skillet hot and i will pick a couple of them snakes and we'll have us some delicious fried rattler??what do you say??they taste just like chicken!!:rofl:
 
you caught was pretty larger with many rattles, so if this one is real than it certainly needs to be in the Guiness Book of Records. And as far as fried snake meat.....NO THANKS!!! I hate snakes dead or alive! :sad:

You can eat my share! Have a little story to tell! A family lived out West and one of their relatives was there for a visit. The lady of the house saw a rattler....shot it, cleaned and cooked it for supper but didn't tell her visitor what kind of meat it was, who ate and said it was good but wanted to know what kind of meat she had cooked. The lady told her it was rattlesnake meat. The woman relative went out side and threw up and threw up, for the thought of it being a rattlesnake made her sick, although she had eaten some and thought it was good! So, must have been in her mind and not her tastebuds! :D :)

easterns git bigger than westerns and a huge eastern is in the 8ft range.
I have seen this picture before.Bummer is tho, aside from the fact that someone murdered this creature,SHE definately looks gravid.So, he's holdin more like 2-3 dozen dead snakes..not jist one.:cry: :cry:
As betty says tho.....probly is a record that won't be seen any time soon again. sad.. very sad.
