I am an innocent bystander in the "fishing war" between Lil Brother and Arkie Johns Lil Sis. Just for the record, they left on time this morning, Lil Brother was up and ready upon her arrival with a steaming hot cup of coffee in hand. Lunch was made, fishing gear in hand, Lil Brother was all ready for the sibling rivalry that had never ended.
From all that I have heard, Lil Brother kept his usual demeanor during the day. Never once losing his cool. Really now Linda, has he ever??? Maybe in your old age it just seems that way. Well anyway, let me get on with the story.
I was at work today, minding my own business. I came home and lo and behold the two pulled up. Linda was in a hurry to leave, but more in a hurry to have me take her and Lil Brothers picture. I found that to be kind of odd, but what the heck. They had had a good day together and maybe she just wanted to remember it. Then I got to thinking...what if she somehow used that picture to trick all you, to make you think that she had caught the big catch of the day. Well, I knew that I had to act fast. Thank goodness for digital cameras. Lil Brother just purchased one a few weeks ago and we are both in the process of learning how to use it. Well let me get on with the story.
Lil Brother is very humble and would not have posted this himself but as his loving, adoring wife, I felt it to be my wifely duty.
As you can tell from the picture, Lil Brother who is on the left actually caught the BIGGER of the two fish. Linda on the right, well, she used the oldest trick in the fishing story book. She held it out REAL far in front of her, just to make it look bigger!! Bet she don't tell you that in her story...

In conclusion,
I am glad that they had a great time together today. I am sure that they left a few fish in the lake for the rest of us.
