each and everyone of you for the contributions you make to this forum. Between some ongoing health issues and trying to finish up some Field Tests before winter arrives, I've not posted as often as I would have liked (recently). But after reading the posts made during the past couple weeks, and the excellent responses to questions, I have to say...........I am very impressed with the wealth of knowledge that is being shared.........and very proud to be part of this forum.

Again, thanks to each of you for being part of this forum. And I'd like to add a special thanks to Old Longhair for serving as Moderator. HH Randy

Thanks to you we have learned most of our information. Thanks for all you do for our hobby.

I agree with the others Randy. It is we that owe you the thanks.......myself in peticular.
I'm certain that I'd never have enjoyed the success that I've had w/o your ability to explain, your information so selflessly shared, and your encouragement.
Thank YOU!

I have read your Xterra posts before they were all put together in your AWESOME Xterra E Book! You should change your name to Digger X (the x for xterra) I thank you for all your hard work and dedication to this hobby and for teaching guys like me how to get the most out of our MDs in a way that is very interesting and easy to understand. The E book has really helped me enjoy my Xterra to the fullest. I am sure that your E book has been quoted throughout all Metal Detecting forums on the internet. That is an achievement in itself. If there was a Nobel Prize in metal detecting, you would deserve it.:clapping:

Yes, the Ebook is a very valuable source of information and could have easily been published and sold as others have done with their books for other Minelab metal detectors. From my understanding, Randy wanted to share his expertise with this detector at no cost and we all have learned and will continue to learn from it.

Minelab should release a "Randy Horton" signature edition Xterra with 2 of his favorite coils:detecting:

Like all the others here responding to your post,Credit should be given ware credit is due Thanks Randy.....
The X-terra series is a detector all in a class of it's own and it can be a bit intimadating to learn I'm by far no expert yet but i've become pretty good with it thanks to the info you
give and the help and advice from others here.

you are the man
Thanks 4 everthing

I also want to thank you Randy. I do not post often, but I read a lot. Your information has made me a better hunter. You shared it all the time, and for that I am very grateful, Beale.

Digger I could not agree with you more. It is very refreshing to come to this site and see questions being asked and the replies being genuine and not just "have you searched the forum?". The folks that contribute to this site are a real class act. I believe you and a couple others have led this forum by example and that example has been picked up by everyone here and is being passed on. I really enjoy coming here and reading replies that are FULL of explanation of how and why rather then just an answer

I agree with everyone here! You lead by example and it shows with the knowledge that everyone has here! Hope the health issues have passed, I know how that can be!

Truly being said, how folks respond / help in this forum is in all reality a reflection of the leadership. Thank you Digger for your sharing your wisdom and knowledge. I don't even own an x-terra but enjoy coming into this forum to learn about the detector(as I am hopeful in purchasing one in the near future) and the neat finds people make with them. - Jim

I agree with Beale. I don't post much, but am on here frequently and enjoy the questions, answers and pictures of finds. I've learned an awful lot from this forum and hope to learn a lot more. Thanks to Digger for having the patience to share his vast knowledge with us. Good Health and Happy Holidays to all. Tom

Good on you Digger and Old Longhair
We have learned heaps from you guys, so at best we are just passing it on
This forum would be much worse off without a top quality 'mod squad" like you guys ;)

First, a prayer for your health issues. "I Pray to our good lord for your health '. Next.. i believe you are an extreme wealth to this site, :please: I have read this site for a while, i have not been a member long, but i have always read what you say before i joined as a member. I bought a xterra 705 cause of some of the things you said, I don't know whether to thank you or blame you:shrug::happy: God bless, a prayer for your health.

Absolute thumbs up to Randy and his style... No smoke being blown Randy... :)

Guvner..

I do appreciate the kind words. This forum has grown from the introduction of a new product ..... to a forum with amazing members who are willing to share their thoughts and ideas. And I am grateful to each of you who make those contributions. Before I close this string of posts, I would like to say once again.......you folks are awesome! Thank you! HH Randy
