I think it would be nice if people let us know where they are located. Maybe as part of your signature or avatar. It puts more meaning to some of your finds. Also it might let some people know they are located close to each other.

When people ask for help some of the advise depends on where you are located.

Thats a great idea Rob. I live in Caldwell, Idaho which is near Boise. HH Dennis in Idaho
 
Ok Dennis,

Look at the bottom of my post it says I live in Lockport, Illinois. Just go to the control panel and put Caldwell, Idaho in your signature. Oldrivers has a Texas avatar but you wouldn't look good riding a potato. That's a joke. HH Rob

I'm located within the boundaries of Pisgah National Forest, in Western North Carolina - 30 miles southish of Asheville

Hello Everyone, Greetings from Dunellen, New Jersey. About 25 miles west of New York. They haven't built or paved over every patch of ground here yet. The usual restrictions in historic areas and some parks. Good hunting to all.

My signature is in my profile "control center", but I don't see it in my posts.

Does anyone see it?

Is it suppose to work that way, me not seening my signature, I see most everyones else's, but not mine!

You have to click the box, add my signature to this message, right above the attachments and up load photos. I guess you have to click the box each time you post anything. HH Dennis in Idaho
 
Skip, at the top of the page where it says welcome Gold Seeker you will see { log out ] [ control center ] [ private messages ] click on to control center. When it comes up look to the left column it will say edit signature click on it. and when you type you message check the box at the top under options that says add my signature to message.
