One an earlier thread I asked what to expect out of the 11" DD for the F5. You were on the money, as it doesn't appear to go any deeper and the separation is better. The DD does cover more ground because of the extended depth on each end compared to the typical cone shape of the elliptical concentic, and it seems the concentric's sweet target spot is towwards you from center,

So now onto the 5"DD. I am going to order one this week. Got any idea of the depth and does it cover end to end as well as the 11" DD?

Thanks,

Dan

Sorry, it doesn't have to be just Mike that answers. I appreciated everyone's thoughts.

Hi Dan,

You didn't say if you liked it or not?

The 5" is a DD coil so it will share the same characteristics as the 11" coil. You will see ground coverage for the whole coil but the deepest area is still the center. It will air test at 7-8 inches. Depth in the ground depends on your ground conditions. It is a nice coil to have around and you'll get some use from it.

Mike
