Took Casey to spend a few hours with some of her friends from her acting group. She had a blast and I had the opportunity to talk to a gentleman about detecting, state laws and even how our State Archeologist pulls the strings of DNR and thus effects the policies of the state parks. Had a great conversation about history and things semed so great til he mentioned the name of the state archeologist and that they have been close friends for many years.
Open mouth - insert foot. Thought I crossed over into the Twilight Zone for a little bit, <img src="/metal/html/lol.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":lol">
Looking forward to going back to have further discussions with the guy - and Casey looking forward to having more fun with friends.
Been lucky if I get a chance to spend a few minutes each day to check email to see what is going on here.
Looking forward to the CMD hunt and will have a gift I hope everyone can use - or find a use for. Well time to get ready for work.

we'll find a motel or something nearby. We can then visit awhile with everyone then retire to our 'get-away' then be back in the morning to see if the chickens have been awakened. Sherry loves waking up chickens and gets up at the crack of noon to see none over sleep <img src="/metal/html/lol.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":lol">
I have an item (hoping I have enough for everyone with a detector) to give out and we can see how useful the item might be. We can put our imaginations to work. I have found 3 uses for the one I have on my detector when I go out. (Can only be used for one use at a time though). It attaches to the detector shaft (assuming most makes and models use pretty much the same diameter shafts).
Do we need anything to 'plant'? Might be able to scrape up a few coins if we are going to have a 'seeded' hunt. Not sure what you have in mind but whatever it is I know just being together with all these great people will be fun in and of itself.
