Got out for a 2 1/2 hr. hunt while Hank golfed.

It was one of the hottest days we've had here so far this summer, but it was lots of fun sloshing in those troughs and scanning the damp and dry slope sand.

Found all rings in the sand; 14 K was found as I was doing a diagonal recheck on the way back to the car...3" deep ...that was a nice surprise

The sterling silver ring was deep ..about a foot...difficult to clean the tarnish off...it was that sticky type of tarnish rather than the "crusty " type that I usually find.

Won't know the date of the "wheatie" until I clean the coin.

Ok mags but just to let ya know midwest does not pay near the 95% that they claim to. Its more like 85%. The place I use pays 93% of spot. You have to be in business to use them though. Take care and keep diggin up those gold items
