z lynk compatibility with sun ray pro gold headphones

mj-air23

New member
I purchased the z lynk to pair with my Sunray pro Gold headphones which I use on my Etrac. I can get the sound but it seems dull and muffled nothing like the crisp clean and loud tones I get when running straight from the machine. Is anybody else having this problem or is it limited to the Sun Rays?? Thanks.

High output 150 ohm (nominal impedance) is the same for the Z-Lynk receiver and the SunRay Pro Gold Headphones. Both have 3 conductor plugs, BUT the SunRay's have independent volume controls and an limiter circuit in them. These features MAY make them one of the few headphones that are not compatible with the Z-Lynk wireless system. Try calling either Garrett or SunRay, or both and ask them, they should know for sure. If you get a good answer, please let us know.
