I need several nylon bolts and large wingnuts to hold my coils onto my Tesoro Lobo ST.
Ace Hardware has the plastic bolts but not the large wingnuts that Tesoro was using.
Anybody know where i can get them please? 1.5 inch long , 10 x 24 thread, dunno what diameter, maybe 3/16 or 1/4 inch?
Thanks. Ps, if our Tesoro machines need service, are we out of luck now ?

Keith Wills at Brokendetector.com can repair them.

If you have a Fastenal near you try them. Try a boating store.
You can also use Fisher Teknetics coil bolts and nuts. You may have to drill the holes out a tad larger.
You can also try Home Depot, you may get lucky.

Hello Tom V.
I might have a nut/bolt for the tesoro I could send you as I don't use the tesoros anymore..(will check size)...got a battery cover somewhere that fits the T,V,C if someone one can use it...send me info and will get bolt/nut out to you...joe

Stainless steel bolt and nut should work fine on a Tesoro.
Some of the Tesoros came with metal bolts from the factory.
Won't cost much to find out.

Stainless will work fine, as long as it is stationary it doesn't seem to affect anything.
My older, 7" coil Compadre came with a stainless bolt and nut right out of the factory and it has found me plenty over the years with absolutely no issues .
