Really liking the Vista X

Hey Guys
Got out for a hunt at one of my relic sites with the X..really like the 2 tone setup..but the most impressive thing to me is the depth..pulled a couple pieces 10-12"...hunted in discrimination mode..good sold high tone....Gain set around 35 and Threshold 30-35 ..Ground balance stayed in the 12-2 o'clock range...no EMI noticed..really liking this detector..
would add a picture of finds if I could figure out how too..hh. ..stay safe joe

Nice one!
Sounds about 'typical' of what's happening during my "X" detections!
It is 'a depth demon' for sure!

Hearing good 'preliminary' reports about the new 8" rectangular coil! It'll increase the versatility of the machine!

PS: it's never been easier to post pictures

What is so impressive about the X is the depth and fast reset...
And I have used the tesoros tejon/fisher 1200 type machines in the past..
Got to say..in my dirt the X blows them away..joe
Where are you in bama? You may have told me I can’t remember. I’m down on the bay and have been thinking of the x for deep bullets. How’s it do around EMI? I have to use my Gold bug pro with 13” coil to get deeper lead. T2 suffers from emi but will get them too. Really love how the x hits Keith southerns 10” dime in his dirt.

Hello IR
I am in North east Al...I mainly relic hunt...also have a f19 with 13 ultimate...
No comparison....The X is so much deeper..was pulling relics elbow deep last week....good tight tone....with gain/threshold around 35 or so..so pleanty of power still under the hood..No EMI encountered so far...
Place I have been hunting ..has bad EMI with my Nokta had to turn sensitivity way down/freq adjust...
To me the X is a Great relic machine...hope this helps. joe

It does help. Sounds like It might be a fun replacement for the vaquero. And maybe the gold bug on high emi sites. How would you say it performs against the T2SE with boost process or the f75 on deep targets? I always appreciate an opinion on these as I’ve considering one since they came out...

Hello IR
The T2 is a good relic machine..I owned a T2se for several years...I used the T2 on this site I am hunting right now...
My T2 suffered from EMI most of the time at sites I hunted..so if I hunted with Boost Mode I had to keep Gain lower..around 10" was about the best I got out of the T2 in my ground..hh. joe

Good to hear..... the Vista X is a firm favourite with many right now 🙂

Thank you
