Don't let a lot of "new model" talk keep you indoors.

New top-end models from XP and Nokta / Makro are sure capturing a lot of interest and talk on the Forums, but don't let that keep you I i
ndoors nor feel your detector perform is less than it was designed for.

Get those Garrett models out there hunting and finds those goodies that are awaiting.

We're enjoying beautiful weather here in mid-west Texas and as soon as my healh improves and I'm out of rehab I know I plan to. My Apex w/Ripper coil is awaiting my return.

I hope you get better soon. Greetings
'Thank You' I am making progress here in a Recovery Hospital and realizing how week I hot and how difficult it is to regain strength and mobility.

I've had a lot of time laid up here to jump I n other forums about the two new models combining out and considered getting the device. But I got frustrated when a couple of guys started making fun of the Apex.

No, it doesn't have all the adjustment features of an EQ-800, but it's half the price and comes with the Z- Lynk MS3 heaphones. Better still, it worked well for me in the same sights I had hunted with the 800 and some even tougher.

So to all Apex fans, like me, get out hunting!

Monte, Best of luck to you with a Full, Speedy Recovery and a return home from the hospital. The absolute best metal detector made today is the one that we own and use and are the most familiar with, for you know as well as I if not better, that is when they become deady. Some detectors may not have as many bells and whistles as others, but in trained hands they are every bit as effective in finding targets. I use a Minelab Safari fbs detector. Is it the latest, greatest, newest waterproof detector? No, but it does all I need it to do. I would personally rather spend my time hunting instead of trying to set the unit up, and then sorry if I have it set right. God's Speed to you sir, that you can get out soon and enjoy your Apex.
