Peace I’m out!

Never have figured out what thrill one get's from trolling on a treasure forum? Needs attention? Hmmmm! HH Jim Tn
Likewise and this fella has almost 1600 posts (very few about detecting) in a little over 6 months. That tells me all I need to know about him

If the legend is so good why was its production postponed based off the selected testers feedback
That's a good question, but in reality, feedback is what testers are for. I think the Legend will be a very fine detector and at the very least, will be another offering in its price point range. And the Deus 2, shoot, it is already proving itself. For those not willing to pay its price for (maybe) better performance and additional options, the Legend becomes another choice at a lesser price point. HH jim tn

Agreed that's what testers are for however clearly they felt the product needed some additional tweaking The company makes great products I will attest to that having owned a few of the units they have made

Just because you're too cheap to spend the money doesn't mean it is a "BIG RIP OFF"
They are just starting to hit the States and I'm sure you haven't touched one but you already have an opinion on it 😂
The deus 2 is a machine that will pay for itself lol that's the way I look at it, also I have my pennies saved up no problem with price for me but sadly most spend beyond their means live pay check to paycheck not me I thank the Lord everyday for all I have...

Well said! It never ceases to amaze me how so many others are worried about what other people do with their money. I'll spend how I want and you can do the same

Amen brother I feel blessed I’ve been at the same job for 25 years and have never been unemployed and have the best wife I could ask for! That’s a perfect life for me ..

I'm in the maybe camp as I don't know if I will or won't buy the d2. I do know I'm not going to spend that kind of money because a couple of people who seem painfully biased, say it's the greatest thing since toilet paper. I would rather see the opinions of most of the fine folks here doing real world hunting.
I'm sure XP has done their due diligence and are putting out a good product. Is it something I can't live without? We'll see.

You guys must make some pretty pricey finds to be able to pay off a $1500 machine
I just found this was very surprised at what they retail for and clad change I can tell you I find close to or more than $2000.00 a year in clad quarters dimes nickels..I literally wear out a shovel in about a years time !

Non of the detectors I've had have ever paid for themselves.
I don't sell my finds... So I guess I'll never know if the Deus II I just picked up will pay for itself and I don't care.
This is a Hobbie not a job...

I never kept track either, but I know I don't find enough to pay for any of my machines, but I don't overspend either ... Just a hobbie to me too,, but I guess I'm just a little more responsible with my loot

That don't sound right now that I re-reas it , and I wanna clarify what I meant. I don't hunt places that produce Earth shattering finds so I play it safe with what I spend on machines, although it's a hobbie I still try not to overspend to find a few more worthless finds in my hunting grounds. You guys probably have great places to hunt, I mean the beach hunters have me a mess Everytime I see all the gold they post. I do find some silvers,a few large cents and maybe once a year a gold something or rather,,but that's about the height of my good finds... So no disrespect by my post about me being responsible with my loot, I just play it safe for those reasons

I was swinging a F75 and was the first in the NE to get a ETrac when they came out. It was hitting silvers the F75, explorers and Sovereigns couldn’t In my old parks. The difference was that everyone showed up with their respected machines to run them with each other. We all knew our machines and could dial them in and no one was shaming anyone or any machine. It would l”look and sound” better if CB would have reached out to some guys with different machines to test who know how to run them in the wet salt. All beaches are different too. I do believe in what he says the D2 is capable of just would have taken a different approach.
