Videos on the Legend

How do you get captions to work?
I figured out how to turn on but when you go to open up and enlarge the video it doesn’t work. Only works if its minimized.

HR,
I follow your logic…….
In the area we refer to as the EMI Hell Zone is a patch of ground that has different intensities of interference. Sometimes one gets the crackling Morris Code type sounds in a small patch or it can reach out and cover quite an area. I’ve had my handheld start vibrating at knee height above ground and then go away an hour later. If running quiet and try to use pinpointing mode you sometimes get a los level wavering (like a slow police siren) and pinpoint will not work. The only tool I have right now is 4khz and it works extremely well a good portion of the time.
I’ve not tried M3 as of yet but feel it will simply fail that type of test. The ground is watered every other day and stays damp most of the time. Manual GB indicates 26 and it prefers 11 or 8 for channel selections.
I feel strongly there is still hidden silver in the area and probably some gold jewelry as well but I can not hear it if the chatter is a crazy as its been. We do get lots of 60 blips and 11 bumps but nothing good has come from pursuing those “isolated” singular hits so far. I will try M3 but now the school has started there is basically no easy access until after 5 pm or weekends.

Well dang. Just realized I completely left out the main point of my response. Old age at its finest……
We have what I refer to as semi deep foil in the EMI zone and fringes. My best description is its a multi folded aluminum or tin foil piece about the size of a nickel and can be pushing 5-7” deep. I think its chewing gum foil wrap but not positive. As a kid I remember always folding the inner wrapper and finger flicking it at someone when they weren’t looking. This type of an item just doesn’t make a chirpy or scratchy sound and mimics a dime or quarter in sound and numbers.

Sounds like karma is getting back at you for flicking foil at people

I've yet to watch one of their videos that was helpful. Granted, I haven't watched many of them as I find them irritating.

ive also found if you slow recovery down also settles interference, and just have to swing a little slower to compensate

HR, I went head first into EMI Hell Zone this morning. No idea what they do in that building in the mornings but it was intense up there. Usually you can walk away 50-75 yards either way and be out of it but not this morning. I was 100 yards plus and still fighting it. In the thick of I could get the handheld to vibrate just starting to go into the plug. Stayed quiet above ground, but would do a short up and down rhythmical wave like vibration.
I’ve learned just not to fight it.
Even dropped Sens 10 and recovery to 0……
