OAK ISLAND

I love his enthusiasm, he makes everyone on the show smile.
He's like most of us when it comes to metal detecting, the next time out detecting we'll find the treasure.
 
As many individuals it would likely have taken to bury the supposed treasure in the first place...I SERIOUSLY DOUBT NO ONE (IN THAT GROUP) RETURNED TO RECOVER IT.
Wood, rocks, rusty iron, buttons, rubber boot and mud is IMHO, the only thing left there. :confused:
The ONLY people going to benefit ($$) are the contractors. :oops:

Have no idea what a "bobby dazzler" is.
Don't understand why he NEVER has to dig the target.
Don't think I would enjoy hunting with him. :unsure:
 
He’s just carrying on the farce, why wouldn’t he? If you’re getting 40-50k an episode(or whatever) it makes sense from an “entertainment TV” point of view to keep that money train rolling. That narrator? “What? Could it be that the nail found in Lot 5 could go to the piece of timber found in the swamp? Because ships were built out of timber and nails could it be that there’s a ship buried on Lot 8 next to the round rock with the moss on the south side?“ This show is the pinnacle of preposterous, but it still makes money and has viewers. As long as people watch and the ratings support it….there’s more on the way. But to REAL hunters such as many of us who work on a smaller scale every day and make good finds because of hard work and research, it’s kind of insulting. As I’ve said before…Gary knows better, he’s not an idiot. But he is hired to do a job, and part of that job is to be an ACTOR.

Gary is interesting but I don't think that Gary has any skills on me or us. His swinging technique isn't all that, he's just a guy with a good detector that wants to help. He does apparently have some background of some good finds, but Britain is a place to find some real old "top pocket" finds as compared to the US. The one that gets me is the young female that is on the show sometimes detecting in her white jeans, she obviously doesn't detect like I do...lol.

Hey, at least he's better than that former Studio Wrestler that had a show and his ARZ (artifact recovery zone) that he'd say 100 times a show,
