Have you tried it on a V3i to prove it won't work? I run the Detach 8x6 on my V3i and it is a great coil. Not being stamped with a "V" doesn't bother it at all.

You mean White in color? My 8x6 Detech is black, as well is my 13 Ultimate coil, and they all pass the test. I do own a white colored 10x12 coil, it works.

Yes, white in color as far as the 10x12 goes. The white ones were specifically made for the v3i

The white 10x12 is v-rated the black one is not. The black 10x12 will work on the V3i but May overload at a boost of 15 or less.
