1723 Woods Hibernia, spectacle buckle

Mr. Digger

Got into some Colonial last weekend and finally found something worth posting! Unearthed a 1723 Woods Hibernia and a complete spectacle buckle from a farm field permission. I've included the "in situ" pics for those of you who like that kind of stuff.

Sweet! Thanks, I needed that. (y)

U.K. made coin ,and exported there,I found a mint woods coin in the river Thames in London

1723!!!! Call me stupid but what nationality is that coin?
As Targets said, British minted coin. It was originally intended for Ireland (thus the harp and Hibernia motif) but the Irish didn't like the coin so the Brits said what the heck let's send them over to the colonists. It's my second of these, and my first was in even better condition.
