Looks like a nice set up and well built and I tumble many of my finds and those that are brass or copper come out nice my my basic tumbler, does real nice on coins. Some take longer to do. The one I have now is a rubber barrel tumbler with a rubber belt and find it slip a little, so I think I am going to try one of these. I have tried several different ones, but this one sure looks like the cats meow. being winter is coming on I can catch up on cleaning of some of my finds.

Was wondering what a 'rumbler' was !!!! :D :D :D :D :D

I think I have about 4 or 6 'rumblers' !!!! I use to use salt & vinegar and not only did it rot out my tumblers.
it rotted the plumbing in my sink drain !!! Good thing everything is plastic now.

Ive picked up most of my tumblers used. Newbie rock hounds disillusioned by the amount of time it takes to polish rocks !!!
I find that Thumblers works very well as the barrel has indents which cause extra 'rolling' on the inside to speed up the process.

Nothing like stainless steel, though. Since hardly anyone uses coins anymore, my volume of loose change is hitting rock bottom.
Back in the beginning, stainless would have been a great investment.

Thanks for info Mark. Something to remember for the future.

Thats a very reasonable price nowadays for stainless considering the price for a lortone or thumblers

They have a smaller one right now on sale. It’s like $110. This one that I bought is a 4 1/2 pound Tumblr the next one down is a three. The build quality is insane. You can take those ones with belts harbor freight, Tumblr Tumbler throw them right in the trash compared to this thing. This one that I bought I believe was around $140 on sale with free shipping and it came packed in a perfect Styrofoam box all protected.

That is exactly what I'm going to do..heave the harbor freight.

Nice those are clean compared to my beach coins are crusty green black I have to change to water twice last night to do $61.00 worth of clad
Those quarters were NASTY,that is after 3 rinses,I like the idea of speed control on the new one.

Yeah, if you crank it up on these, it’s actually too fast. The media will stick to the sides. That’s how fast they will spin.

That is a nice tumbler indeed!
I am still using a single barrel Harbor Freight tumbler and although it cannot compare to that one,
I have put thousands of coins through it since buying it around 2008 or so.
It has paid for itself…that’s for sure!
I think I only paid $25 for it!
