Metal detector prices.

I would imagine they figure in production cost, research and development cost, how many features the detector has and what new features it has. I usually never buy a detector that has been newly released, I wait for other users to work out whatever bugs there may be with the machine, I think the only detectors I have purchased when they were first released was the Equinox and the First Deus, neither one disappointed me. : )

The way I look at it would be like getting a bill from 2 different doctors. One charges you $5,000, for services snd the other one charges you $2,500. for the same services. The difference would be in overhead operating costs even though their was no real difference in care.🤔
