Using the sand shark and a question

I got an anderson shaft for a somewhat closet queen sand shark and I am super happy with it. It has the 8 inch coil. I took it to the beach the day after the holiday and I was able to get in the water for a bit and all went well. I found 1 silver earring and 2 pieces of junk jewelry as well as some coins. I used it mostly in the recommended settings in vco mode. Some of the targets took more than one scoop to dig out so I was getting good depth. One thing I’m wondering is does anyone know the specs on the main o ring for the sand shark? I want to do some preventative maintenance and replace it.

The last ones I bought was back in 2019 about the time Tesoro closed down.
Below is a photo of the item number from where I ordered it from.
I took some measurements as best as I could, and the dimensions are as follows:
OD….3 7/8”
Thickness is 3/32 or 3 mm.
Hope this helps out some…

I just took the o ring out of the sand shark and used an o ring measuring tool to get it exactly. It has a standard o ring .103 inch thickness and a size designation of 155. So if you look up those two things you should be able to get replacement. I found one on amazon and I’m going to try it out.

Thanks for the information…
