Anyone know anything about the Prospectre Coils out of Australia that work on whites TDI and Minelab GPX detectors ,I’m looking for a mono for the TDI and figure it would be the perfect solution 8x6 ,but I know nothing about the brand or the coils,I’ve added a pic from there listing on the Bay...

Emi / chatter what to do..??

Change frequency and use frequency shift but the deus is pretty chatty or at least mine has always been the most stable for me is 7.5 kHz but it depends on your location

    Does anyone dig every signal

I agree with you 100% CT Todd, I only use the deus for coins and silver ,it has a program that I put in it years ago its kind of a cherry picking program the has a high shrill tone on clad and silver but doesn’t like nickels or gold at all,if I’m looking for gold I’ll use the V3i or vx3 and...

    Maximum sensitivity ,

I run 87 sens on moderate soil and it still punches deep, the deus is pretty noisy regardless of the sensitivity settings or at least mine has always been

    Does anyone dig every signal

The program I use 100% of the time I only dig the high tones,I pay no attention to the screen until there’s a high tones probably the reason I haven’t dug any gold with the deus 😁

Need parts please. Fisher CZ-7a QuickSilver.

Looks like 9v batteries,If the battery contact blades are present in both battery compartments you can use foam or pieces of a pool noodle and wedge the batteries in place to test it

    Best coil for the Quqttro

Keep an eye out for a used sharpshooter on flea bay you will be be amazed at the depth and separation and it’s a little lighter than the minelab coil but all 3 of the FBS detector models are on the heavier side, out of the 3 I prefer the explorer SE over the Quantro and E-trac

    Best coil for the Quqttro

I’m not a fan of the internal cable routing,I tie a thin narrow ribbon or thin nylon shoe string so the cable is less aggravating to feed through the shafts, tie it rite below the connector drop the ribbon trough the shaft and pull the cable through and wad up the ribbon in the middle shaft and...

    Best coil for the Quqttro

I use the NEL sharpshooter 85% of the time and 10x12 sef when searching open areas, hands down the best I’ve used, the sunray 8” and 12” are really good coils also, the 8” minelab FBS is a decent coil, the pro coil is junk in my opinion but that’s my own opinion 😁
