This fixed frozen screen on my Legend.

I've updated my machine to 1.05 and the screen froze up with no response to any buttons pressed. Then I found this online and it worked. Reset the device by pressing and holding the Power & Settings Button for 30 seconds. If the problem still exists, contact technical service...

    Legend Manual Finalized

I just checked at noktadetectors.com and found the Manual for the Nokta Legend appears to be final. It no longer reads “Not Final” across the cover and is a little longer.

    Nokta legend – Warranty Question

I see on the Nokta web site “ https://www.noktadetectors.com/metal-detector/the-legend/ “ under specifications it states the Warranty is 3 Years. I checked 2 of the larger online sales companies. Both state under specifications it states the Warranty is 2 Years. Does anyone have a definitive...

My Arsenal of 3D Triple Discrimination Detectors

These are the 3 Tesoro’s I currently own that have the 3D Triple Discrim Mod. My son has the Vaquero (Gray) from a couple years ago. Cutlass II uMax: In addition to the 3D mod I shortened the Cutlass II uMax to fit my 6 year old Grandson. I shortened the lower rod by 2 inches, and moved the...

    LATEST 3D TRIPLE DISCRIMINATION MODIFICATION

I just completed modifying my Black Vaquero. This 3D modification has a Enhanced Zinc Accept / Reject Mode making it a real alternative to a Golden uMax. I really like this system. As a coin and small gold ring hunter it is excellent. Once the toggle is activated it only takes one or two...

Tesoro Cutlass II uMax upgraded to Golden uMax

I bought a Cutlass II uMax a couple of weeks ago from “Rob” on the Dectector Classified Forum for my Grandson to use. In the attached photos you can see the face plate with the preset discrimination switch. ON THE PHOTO SHOWING THE SIDE OF THE DETECTOR YOU CAN SEE A 2 POSITION SWITCH. In...

    Tesoro Compadre 3D Mod

I purchased a Compadre to see if my 3D Modification work on this platform. I have previously been successful with the Silver Sabre uMax, Troy X2, Cibola and Vaquero. I was not successful with the current model Silver uMax. I’ll probably be selling this one pretty soon as ALL the land...

    Pole Reach?

Sounds like either these new detectors have different poles than the Coinmaster GT or the GT I bought (used) had a different lower rod in it than it should have.

    Pole Reach?

I had a Whites Coinmaster GT a while ago. It seemed like a decent machine. However, I found the lack of a middle rod made it to short to use comfortably. I'm 6" so not that extremely tall. I haven't seen one of the new TreasureMaster/TreasurePros in the flesh, but from the photos it appears...

    SOME RESULTS USING MODIFIED TESORO

Here are my finds from 4 or 5 outings using my 3D modified Silver Sabre uMax and Vaquero. In the picture the finds have been separated after 30 minutes in a tumbler. Next I will further clean them separately, Pennies, Nickels, and clad/silver. As you can see there is a very respectable...
