    Plane from the 1970's taken with a home made telephoto....

    I guessed it was the equivalent of a 450mm. Taken with a film camera as it headed toward Westover AFB in Chicopee, Ma. right next to Ludlow where I used to live. The telephoto was just a pvc pipe with a telescope objective lens and an aperture I purchased and mounted it inside. To kee...

    Took a fisheye of some flowers I got my wife

    It was very dim and didn't use flash....iso 6400 but brightened it up and cut out the clutter around the table.

    Anyone know what kind of bug this is?

    Could it be a young dragonfly or something? Looks alien! Just took the shot with the 500mm lens about 25 feet away on the powerline running to the apartment.

    I was just practicing focusing on planes today....I like the way this vapor trail ended up

    Just a few minutes after it passed it started forming some cool patterns then dissipated pretty quickly.

    I was told that in Texas, in order to round up the steers you need a good cow horse.

    So I put a couple of my pictures together and came up with a good cow horse. :)
