Almost gave up on the Anfibio

Nice finds! I'm still working on getting mine dialed in but am really liking it so far.

    Thinking about a Simplex plus

I saw a YouTube video yesterday on the same issue the 2.77 update version wouldn't detect coins in the new park 1 that the other Simplex v 2.68 would get in the old park 1. Both were new out of the box detectors.

    Xp Coils?

Yep, except for a couple of the older Deus coils I believe.

The Deus isn’t a deep detector?

It's a single frequency detector, the user scrolls through the available frequencies and chooses the one to use.

The Deus isn’t a deep detector?

The ORX and the Deus use the same coils. Each coil has a range of frequencies that you can select. The 9" hf coil goes from 13.7 I think to 56. something. The X35 coils have 35 different frequencies from 3.7 or so up to 27. something.

The Deus isn’t a deep detector?

Well if you're using the hf coil it will only go down to 13.7 kHz which puts it in the same class as most other single frequency detectors. With the X35 coil you can get down to 3.7 kHz I think. I do wish it had a 4th tone and I would really like the boost mode for the lower frequencies like the...

Second time out finds nice coin's.

I'm really liking my Anfibio, its been easy to set up and use and the stock coil has been able to separate the good targets from the bad in some fairly trashy spots. Also really love the wireless headphones and being able to pair the pulse dive pinpointer to them. Hope you like yours, best of...

Second time out finds nice coin's.

Nice coins, I'd love to find an Indian head one day.

    Silver ring!

Thanks I really like it. That was the first good piece of jewelry that I've found, everything else has been plated.

    The Simplex got here.

Congratulations on your new Simplex, best of luck with it!

    Silver ring!

Thanks ya'll, now if I can just find some older coins there, the place looks like its been there long enough.

    Silver ring!

Got out for about 4 hrs with my Anfibio yesterday. Using the stock coil, mostly 3 tones, gain of 89, 3 bars of disc, and 14 kHz. Found $4.63 in clad, for once had more nickels than pennies, and the silver ring. The ring came in at 77-81.
