    I have a NASA Tom tuned CZ-5 that I use often! It does a great job and will give a lot of the newer machines a good run for their money.

    Deep coins sounding like iron!

    Has anyone else noticed that a coin past about 7-8 inches will give a solid iron signal on the AT Max? I started digging iron signals to see what I was hearing and pulled one wheat cent and two mercury dimes that all gave a deep iron signal till they had dirt removed. My dirt here reads 92-94...

    Ground balance number

    In several locations that I hunt I always get the same automatic ground balance number! It always ground balances at 93. Is that possible? Everything else seems to work fine I guess. Just seems odd to get the same number every time.

    Ground balance/sensitivity

    Is it best to ground balance with the sensitivity set at 10 or set at a lower number? I'm in Northern Vermont and the soil can change from place to place.

    This may seem like a dumb question but is it necessary to ground balance every time you adjust sensitivity? Can you ground balance at a 10 sensitivity and lower it to say 5 without affecting the ground balance?

    Heads up on the new F75 detectors that I thought I'd share!

    I just bought the f75 special edition LTD Black and it still has the adjustment holes. Just got mine from Kellyco last week. Glad it still had the holes.
