Interesting report from Minelab comparing the E-Trac to the V3

As Larry said in his post . . . . for a manufacturer to put out a report like this does appear to be done out of fear rather than from a position of market dominance . . . can

Interesting report from Minelab comparing the E-Trac to the V3

Minelab just released a 6-page report touting the E-Trac over the V3 . . . an interesting read although in reading the specific claims and comments, some eyebrows do go up . . . . . here's the text without the images . . . . having both detectors, they are both solid performers and each has...

Minelab Excalibur II 1000 F/S - never used

Well, I guess it's a sign of the times . . . . . bought an Excalibur II to do some beach & water hunting on the family trip to Florida this summer but with cutbacks at my wife's company, we are not going to get much farther than the local mall so I've opted to sell it and see what next year...

The Minelab Digger . . . . is this a sign of Minelab quality?

Not sure if anyone else had had a chance to try out the Minelab-branded digging tool that I guess is supposed to look like a Lesche digger . . . . but I picked one up for $40 to go with my E-Trac. I was a little surprised to see the large "Made in China" sticker in the plastic bag it came in as...

Picked up a copy of Andy's book & it came with an interesting "bonus"

I've been telling myself I needed to pick up a copy of the E-Trac & Explorer Handbook for a few months now based on the comments others have posted about it and finally went on-line to order one. Well, I saw that Andy's son Paul is selling some on the big auction site to cover some college costs...

Minelab Excal II with 10" coil . . . . still in the box

Well, here's another hit from the "great" economy. Picked this up at the end of 2008 on the hopes of doing some water hunting in 2009 and with one of the two family's jobs going away in March, this brand new, still in the box Excalibur II needs to find a new home. It has the 10" coil on it...
