    T2+ and Rechargeable Batteries

Not odd at all to get three bars on fully charged nimh as they are a nominal 1.2 volt/cell vs 1.5 for alkalines. I cant explain why the f75 shows full though, might guess its just how the f75 meter is calibrated.

    Button ID?

Found in Massachusetts. "Best Quality Guilt".The shank seems to be formed then soldered? brazed? to the back. The scale shows 1/16th marks. Any WAG for an age?

Well here's something I just found out today when I called to get an update on my cz20 repair..

Tony, it wasn't damaged in shipping, someone used 2 inch packing tape as a screen protector(?) what you see is the adhesive that remained after removing the tape. I know not to use any solvents on plastic so rubbed it off with my thumb, only took about 45 minutes to get it all off...except for...

Well here's something I just found out today when I called to get an update on my cz20 repair..

If I'm not mistaken Felix is more of a supervisor right? Felix is not rolling up his sleeves and repairing everyone's detector. So unless all the skilled techs also left, in the end it will be repaired just as well as pre-Felix. Myself, I was communicating with him via email and it was quite...

    I just bought a new f19

Hey Monte I've got all 3 coils, ( 5,5X10, and 11biaxial ) and although I have not done side-by-side comparison testing of the 5X10 and 11", I gotta tell ya', that 11 aint no slouch, my gut instinct is its better than the 5X10. I use the 11 a lot, sometimes the 5, and the 5X10 is, well...

    GOLD BUG

Actually I also do have the F19. Had the Gold Bug first and had been considering getting the F19 but when I heard they discontinued the F19 I had to buy one before they disappeared from distributor shelves. And aint that another stupid thing by Fisher...discontinuing the F19 and continuing the...

    GOLD BUG

Just the coil and the name. I know, its stupid. I even had Felix at Fisher correct me that I have a DP, and not a Pro. Um... funny thing is the DP has two "Pro" designation stickers on it. LOL Even Fisher gets confused over this ! And what is it called when you add a different coil ; ) ?

    Newbie here

I was starting to write an answer but deleted it as it might have all been irrelevant. Lemme ask you this, the nails you are finding, what are they ID-ing at? I am assuming you are in discrimination mode vs all metal right? (right knob turned all the way counter clockwise until it clicks)

New Garrett Release : Jase Robertson Signature Edition Metal Detectors

Does it work any better than the model that does not have camo, or a picture of some bearded dude on the box?

    cz6a coil cord repair.

The generic answer would be cut, strip solder. Now I do not know EXACTLY what the problem is so really cant say more. Can you post a picture of the problem?

question on the f-44 and replacing the tactile touchpad..

I had a bad membrane switch, or touch pad, whatever you want to call it on a Gold Bug in 2021. I've since noticed other posts of people having problems with the membrane switches on other Fisher models going back a few years. It does not look as if Fisher has rectified the problem, or even...
