    APEX noisey

    II bought a Garret APEX when they came out. It has always chattered. Just holding it up in the air and shaking it will make it chatter. Is this normal? Coil connection is tight. Does the same with the new smaller coil. Update has been done.

    Did Garrett mess up by the user not being able to change out their own batteries? If you use it all day then you have to charge it all night!     I got a new V3i today so the learning begins! When my brain gets tired, I'll take out my M6 while it rests up! I used the DFX very little, love the M6. Got my DFX posted in the classified.
