    That would be an awesome dive ,, in my opinion. Get one of them underwater handheld detectors ,,,I don't blame you ,, that would be an exciting trip. A lot of the areas with the most wrecks on our coast has some really rough currents ,,, I think you'd have to be a really experienced diver...

    It's like our coast off of NC ,,, hundreds of wrecks ,, history of Blackbeard the pirate frequenting ,, and living on our coast ,, but we're very limited , or legally denied the chances of hunting and searching for any lost treasures .

    Here's maybe a crazy question, especially to all the old timers like me who've scanned the ground while detecting......

    I've watched where I walk for many year's,, might be a habit that came from my early squirrel and rabbit hunting days ,, was always sneaking thru the woods trying not to make a sound.

    Mushroom ID

    I just don't trust my judgment when picking mushrooms. The ones in the wild ,, never look exactly like the ones in the books ,, and I'd hate to learn the hard way. I've learned a lot in life the hard way ,, but this isn't the subject to take chances on .

    I've only been around Kitty Hawk maybe twice . I usually stay south of the Bonner Bridge. I usually get there on the Swan Quarter ferry ,, and I used to stay around Frisco ,, till one of them hurricanes took out the Frisco Pier . The last time I was there I stayed in Avon . I need to plan...

    I knew it was illegal for the most part ,, I wasn't really sure of the exact areas ,, I haven't been out there in 10 yrs or better . I need to make a trip out that way sometime soon.
