    93, 94, 95, 96............and friends!

    Mrs. Hawkeye and I hit a couple spots this weekend and came a little closer to our goal of (100) silvers for the year...........Saturday I dug the 1942-D Washington Quarter and Debbie captured the 1943-P War Nickel.........today Debbie scored first with the 1943 Merc and later I dug the 1912...

    Mrs. Hawkeye and I went for a hunt this afternoon and we're on our quest to find 100 silvers for the year..........today we got numbers 90, 91, and 92....a 1926 Merc, a 1957 Rosy, and a 1928-D Merc.....only eight more to go, but the weather is getting colder and the window for hunting here in NE...

    Seven Silver weekend.............

    Hunted three different spots last weekend and found silver at all three with Sunday being the best day...........the SLQ is a Type 11 no-date, but always a thrill to see one of them puppies come out of the black dirt :yikes: HH..........Hawkeye Jim.

    Was just a beautiful day in NE Iowa today.........Hunted a spot this morning and Mrs Hawkeye was kicking my butt finding silver........she got the two Mercs and the Washington quarter..........I finally scored with the silver Rosy...........we had to quit early as the darn bugs were eating us...

    Went for a hunt today and Mrs. Hawkeye scored first with a 1917 Merc...........I couldn't let her outdo me, so I came on strong with three Mercs of my own, a 1920-D, 1939, and 1945........we rounded out the day with some super corroded wheats. HH --- Hawkeye Jim.

    My best Zincoln ever.............:surprised:

    Extreme Heat + Super Dry Ground = Oldies! :thumbup:

    Braved the elements Wednesday night and came away with some nice oldies.........it was a super nickel night with five Buffalos, two Liberty V-nickels, and a Jefferson.......some wheats.......a 1902-O Barber and a 1919-D Mercury........and the best find, an unlisted token from West Branch Iowa...
