***** New DeepTech Smart + Pro Series coming soon !! *****

Interesting! How low does the disc in the new Pro go? Same as Smart + or is it expanded somewhat? Love the Smart+ but boy does it love foil! Hits on the tiniest bits.. at some depth too. I'd like to have a bit lower cutoff in many sites.

need help on how old from tavern a lot of ash and broke glass

When i was down in Texas, hunters considered the blue "feather edge" shards as a marker for Republic and/or CW era military sites. I'd say a good sign anywhere!

need help on how old from tavern a lot of ash and broke glass

Yeah, blue transfer ware and shell-edged whiteware (sometimes called "feather-edged.") 1850 sounds about right. That was basically the cheapest , half decent stuff you could get in the day. Imported in massive quantities from England. Both were lower grade versions of designs that were somewhat...

    Kruzer’s first outing.....the iron pit.

I knew you deserved that Kruzer more than I did!! Great job! I tested the 5" round on that machine and it was like a laser beam, very focused and crisp. That one should be top notch for picking among the iron scrap. I saved that coil to adapt to my Impact. Although I thought that the Kruzer...

    Kruzer coils on Impact?

Managed to score an Impact 7" and sold off my Kruzer with the Kruzer 7". The coil connectors are the same and Impact and Kruzer coils are electrically interchangeable, for the record. Thanks for all comments above!

    Deerfield, VA

Certainly lots of action in the general vicinity. Have a look at this map: Valley-brochure.pdf Plenty of CW maps of Augusta County and vicinity. Exact location of that 97 acres relative to roads and other features could make it very interesting, plus the land could have been occupied and...

    Kruzer coils on Impact?

Thanks for your comments, Monte! I kinda figured that an extra hole in the shaft would be necessary to allow the cable to get inside the shaft, but I'm willing to do that. Likle you, I am no fan of non-easily replaceable batteries and non standard headphone jacks, especially since I am not a...

    Kruzer coils on Impact?

I think the Kruzer and Impact coils are functionally the same with same connector but have different length cables since the cable runs inside the shaft on the Impact and outside on the. Kruzer/Anfibio. I'm trying to figure out if I can do something with the extra cable to make it workable...

    Kruzer coils on Impact?

I own a Multi Kruzer with several coils and i am thinking about picking up an Impact. Can I use Kruzer coils on the Impact? I know the Kruzer cable is longer but can i jury rig it....wrap the extra wire around the shaft or something? The Impact would be a lot more attractive to me if i can use...
