    CTX to the XP2

We can hope for a New CTX version say FBS 3 with a much lighter package since batteries are a lot smaller for same power and the size of processors and tech have shrunk consideribly since the release of the CTX.

CTX GOLD RING NUMBERS and MANITCORE

Of the gold items I have found with the CTX they were from low 3+ to high mid 20's but this is in parks not on the beach. Not sure on the Maniticore but I bought my kid a Xterra Pro for water hunting and it has the + 100 VDI scale as well but it is actually in segments/blocks of 4's say you...

Can you pause the 3030 while digging

What I do, I set pin point button to on/off instead of having to hold in button while pin pointing. when I dig a target and the machine is being noisy i set it down off to the side and put it in Pinpoint mode and it goes silet. Hope this helps

    Multi target hole madness

Yeah I have been working a park that everyone says has been detected out, It has been very good to me many Silvers, a 1864 2 Cent, buff's, etc this park goes back to 1850 and there is a serious trash layer of pull tabs, screwtops, and iron, on the CTX green number on the right shows...

    Manticore and 3030

Yup agree, New people to detecting I always tell them do not rely on just one or two peoples review of a machine, some are paid to say things, are biased to another brand etc. I love taking the time to learn a new machine and understand what changes do and why. I have followed behind a buddy...

    Manticore and 3030

I guess my gut had the right feeling. If I didnt own an *00 and a CTX I would buy the Manticore, It looks to be a great machine/upgrade to the 800, but I have 1000's of hours between the 2 detectors and find tons in so called hunted out OLD parks and I am still pulling silvers from under the...

    Manticore and 3030

Yes, after the Nox then came the Vanquish and GPZ7000, the vanquish was to compete with the simplex, the nox for the deus, the manticore for the deus 2, and the Excal II. Now I believe they will release a new flagship detector, which on their website the CTX is still on top of the list, If...

    Manticore and 3030

I agree totally, after watching all the videos and reading what info is out there I believe the Manticore is an upgrade to the Nox and to compete with the Deus 2. I believe a new version of the CTX 3030 next year or year after. I know in my soil i prefer the FBS2 over my Nox Multi IQ, the...

    I am curious CTX

I used a NOX 800 past 3 years, also had a 600 as backup sold it and got a very nice once used CTX3030 for a great price. The CTX just clicked with me I read tons of info a few books before I turned it on, I had it for a little over 2 months and love the CTX. I have about 150 hours on it in the...
