12v bucket classifier, and a showing of the new Dry Sluice (patent pending)

You do not need a prototype. In fact, the Patent Office does not know if the device works, or not. They'll issue the patent in either case. A patent has to meet three requirements...(1)...it has to be unique (2) it has to be useful, and (3) it has to be non-obvious. It has to meet all three...

12v bucket classifier, and a showing of the new Dry Sluice (patent pending)

The sluice is definitely not a classifier. It recovers gold like any other sluice, or drywasher. But, without either water, or a blower. The motion, for which the patent is applied for, is all that's needed. I'm still doing testing on what it can do. No other device that I'm aware of, will show...

    First military button

Good idea! it didn't bring out any gilt, but did remove some of the tarnish from the copper. I appreciate the tip. Jim

    First military button

Chris and I got out for a couple of hours the other day. Searching along an old two-track in the sagebrush. Got a decent target, and out popped this button. I'm not a button guy, but it was in such great condition I was pretty happy with it. Jim

12v bucket classifier, and a showing of the new Dry Sluice (patent pending)

It does what any other sluice does, but without water, and without a blower like a drywasher. It also can show the gold recovered, without panning. I'm still doing experimentation to get it to separate the gold from black sand, without resorting to water. There are so many aspects to this thing...

(Want to buy) W.T.B. AA battery charger

I use one of these with my NiMH, NiCad, and lithiums. https://www.amazon.com/CFTGIW-Multifunction-Compatibility-Charger80W-DischargerB6/dp/B0DPR5KF81/ref=sr_1_1

12v bucket classifier, and a showing of the new Dry Sluice (patent pending)

So, today I did some testing with the Dry Sluice to see if I could get the heavies to come out from the pile. And, I finally was able to. For me, that's the holy grail. I wanted to see what I was recovering, without water. It wasn't a complete success. I was using 60-100 mesh granular tungsten...

12v bucket classifier, and a showing of the new Dry Sluice (patent pending)

I'm not insulted...LOL I like people to make suggestions. A person can learn things from everybody. And I have great respect for your input, on everything. On the patents...I've done both myself. Hiring outside people to do it is very spendy. If they do the drawings, and the application, it can...

12v bucket classifier, and a showing of the new Dry Sluice (patent pending)

I meant to add...1/4" screen would probably be better, or even 3/8". The dry sluice handles the bigger material pretty well. I appreciate you subscribing, though my channel isn't monetized. Jim

12v bucket classifier, and a showing of the new Dry Sluice (patent pending)

The problem, Odan, is it needs to be easily man-portable, and also needs to fit on a bucket...thus the short length. I knew I'd lose some of the small stuff, but since it's for prospecting, and not mining, I figured that was accepatable...not like there isn't more small stuff on the ground when...

12v bucket classifier, and a showing of the new Dry Sluice (patent pending)

After all the discussion about a classifier for the new Keene drywasher, I got to thinking maybe it's time to build one for my Dry Sluice. I wanted one that would run continuously, rather than a batch at a time. It also needed to be fairly small, and lightweight. That small size meant it had to...

(Want to sell) F/S Deep Tech Detector Bundle

That is a STEAL! I did pretty good on my pair, but not that good. if you decide to sell the SS coil for the Warrior, let me know. Jim

    Classic SL IDX

Not a big deal, but Whites did not go "belly up". Ken White just got old, and didn't have anybody to leave his business to. And apparently, he couldn't work a deal with his employees to take over the company. That's a long ways from going "belly up".

    vista detectors

Yup...it has a wider range than the Warrior or Gold Gain, for sure. Though the way the Warrior works suited my detecting just fine. I do like the "alternate" discrimination feature of the X, though. The biggest reason I bought an X is the adjustable iron volume in the two-tone mode. The iron...

    vista detectors

I know little about the Smart. But, there are videos on Youtube that will have details on its discrimination ability. I really like all three of my Deeptechs, but I detect where there is iron trash, but few pulltabs, and little foil. Jim
