    Dry/Land Headphone Connectors Waterproof?

Hi folks, I don't use my Infinium in a scuba (fully submerged, as in ME fully submerged) but I do use it in waist high surf and have a question. As I do not use the waterproof headphones (I like the volume control of the dry and have NO need for the fully submersible ones). That being said, is...

    Safe to hip mount?

Hi folks, I've seen several posts about people having problems hip mounting the Infinium. Something about the flex on the cable connector causing breaks. I'm a bit disappointed to hear that as that was a huge selling factor to me. Was that a temporary problem or is it still occurring and if so...

Hi Minelab E-Trac and Garrett Infinum fans... I'm wondering which machine between these two you feel would be better as a quick nugget hunting machine (not for flour super small gold). I realize the differences between the technologies used by each of them (I own both as well as a GPX-4500)...

What is the little clear window on the front for/amplifier speaker available?

Hi all, I just received my brand new Infinium from Steve at AK Minding (Thanks Steve) and I have a question that a search didn't find anything for. What is the little clear window on the front used for, it almost looks like it should be a light there or something? Is it there to see if any...

Hi all, I just wanted to give a A+ for my first experience purchasing from Doc, Jonathan and Frieda. I'm new so you all are probably saying "Yea, what else is new" cus I'm sure positive reviews are old hat with these folks based on my experience. I received a fantastic deal from Doc on a set...

Replace stock E-Trac coil with 15x12 SEF Coil?

Hi folks, I've used the search here in the forums and on Google and am just curious if any of you have replaced your stock E-Trac coil with the one 15x12 SEF Coil that Kellyco sells? Is it waterproof, did you notice any improvement, was it worth it? Also, can that same coil be used on the...

Hi all.. I have both a Minelab E-Trac and a Minelab GPX-4500 and I'm wondering what the general opinion would be as to which would be the better machine for beach use for finding gold rings, jewelery etc. Cheers in advance for your thoughts. Jennifer :canadaflag: :ausflag: :minelab:

Here's one for you Garrett fans (movie link)

Hi all... I snuck over from the Minelab forums (my usual haunts) to share with you a link.... he's holding his coil a bit high but maybe they couldn't afford a metal detecting technical adviser. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OxAuV625uuw Jennifer :canadaflag::ausflag: :minelab:
