    Yeah, like the Chinese language and the checkbox for salt water we got with the 3030 🙄 I sure hope they do a better job at supporting the manticore for you guys.

    For the last couple of days I have not been able to login and bring up the map with two separate computers, any ideas? I get “unexpected error an unexpected error has occurred close the application and try again”. Too bad that doesn’t do anything… Joe

    Deus II 9" or 11" coil

    I bought the machine with the 11” coil, then added the 9” coil. If I had it to do again I would get it with the 9”, and add the 13” for open fields, and omit the 11” all together. Once I pick up the 13”, the 11 will probably only be used if the battery in the one I am using runs down.

    For those that used etrac/ctx

    Depending on your ground, either general or fast seem to be good performers once you adjust the notch to your liking. Deep HC is also a good one, but drains the coil battery quicker.

    I have a CTX, I’m running the D2 at an audio response of six, you will not miss anything. I am running it where I have grid searched with the CTX, and I’m pulling coins out that the CTX never heard. I have not turned the CTX on since the Deus2 was delivered.

    Why so many people dumping the Deus 2

    I need to do some research and find where all these machines are being dumped, I’d like to find a second one with a 9 inch coil to go with the 11 inch machine I’ve got now since I like it so much!

    How many remember the very first detector you started the hobby with and how long ago ??

    1990 and a Garrett Master Hunter 5. I still have it, and it still works :-) it gets closet duty now, I will let the CTX-3030, GPX-5000, Excalibur 2, or Deus 2 do the heavy lifting now, The Master Hunter paid its dues long ago.
