    Got 2 coils for Christmas, one does not work. HELP!

    Got the 10-5 detech and it works great. But also got the Ultimate 13 dd coil and soon as I turn on my e-trac it goes into overload? Tried taking it off and put it on once again and the same thing...overload. But,as I said the 10-5 detech has no issues at all. Thanks

    Noise cancel question..

    When doing your noise cancel,the e-trac will pick a particular channel.My question is,do you stick with the channel it picks for you or do you pick your own channel? My machine seems to run better on noise cancel 11.

    Abandoned schools..

    There are a few abandoned elementary schools in my area and was curious if you have to have permisssion to detect on these? 2 of the schools have been vacant for 20 + years. Or do I just go there to detect and not worry about it?

    Question about tones..

    Determining ground conditions..

    Hey all,when detecting,how do you determine whether you have difficult or normal conditions in your soil you're detecting in? I currently have my e-trac set at difficult but I am just guessing because the only thing I know about my soil is it has a lot of red clay.

    Question about depth...

    I have noticed,for example, a quarter at 3 inches deep has different readings when compared to a quarter at 7 inches. Is this to be expected? Do all deeper coins read differently than the ones closer to the top? Thank you..

    My first e-trac hunt today..

    Two locations I had previously detected,my yard and my mother in-law's yard.I found 4 pennies in my yard,the dirt is not all that good. But in my mother in law's yard I found 3 quarters,2 dimes and 6 pennies,2 of them wheat. The dirt in her yard is a whole lot better. I kept in on factory...

    Just got my E-TRAC...Now it won't come back on...

    Was out metal detecting for 20 minutes and went back in the house for 10 minutes,and now my e-trac will not come back on. I originally put in energizer batteries and so I replaced them with duracell,still no power. I called customer support and they gave me a number in order to send this one...
