    Fisher Gold Bug 2

    I got it working today. Its the stock 6.5 inch coil. The shrew coil on the F19 has found bird shot and many other very small targets. The GB2 seems to like a little faster swing speed, and sounds off with a nice zip zip. Can't wait to get out and start learning it.

    Fisher Gold Bug 2

    So I got my new Gold Bug 2 today...bought strictly for detecting gold nuggets. It doesn't sound off nearly as good as my F19 with A Shrew coil does on small nuggets in a glass vial. I expected it to scream on small gold...but barely a tone change...so disappointed.

    Digger70pa I am going to take my G2 and my F19 out to the desert here in Utah this spring looking for gold. I sure enjoyed the time we spent detecting in PA...you know those machines as good as anyone I have met!

    T2+ scores a Silver ring on first trip!

    The CORS Shrew coil in a trashy park nailed this silver ring at 7 inches. Loud and clear 91 repeatable signal. That little coil is a hammer...and is deeper than I ever expected. It will stay on this machine unless I hunt wide open field that aren't trashy. Can't say enough about how good...

    I have been using variants of the F75 for year now and decided to give the T2+ a try. I primarily relic hunt in iron littered sites and this will be its primary use. I will keep a shrew coil on it 90% of the time to be able to sift through the iron and look forward to hunting with this...
