    It worked using Araldite which I already had (UK). Had a day out today detecting without any problems. I was very careful with my detector, having already shortened the shaft to ensure there was no pressure on the keypad. What a relief, lets just hope that my repair will last. Many thanks...

    Many thanks Dirt Duke, you have confirmed that A careful repair should work. This happened when I was straightening the coil and I think was caused by an 'expert' lengthening the handle. When I straightened the coil I felt a slight pressure on the keypad which was enough. I am going to shorten...

    I have the same problem in that my Nox 800 keypad has come away from its housing. I am hesitant in applying superglue, but can it be repaired?
