    X-Terra headphones

The Xterra Pro works with a transmitter and wireless low latency headphones like the Legend uses. The transmitter is not very expensive (check out Iffy Signal's YouTube where he shows how it works).

Legend 1.09 Update unable to get this update

Maybe this info will help. Updating to V1.09 (or other upgrades) for The Legend This series of steps worked for me when other did not. Try it if nothing else works! 1) Go to Nokia Website 2) Click on "Metal Detectors", and select "Coin and Relic," and then "The Legend" 3) Scroll Down to, and...

    GTI 2500 with treasure talk

Hey Coinspader, they have a slower recovery speed but they are excellent coin machines down to about 7 1/2 inches. They also really like silver coins and silver rings (nickels are a nightmare) to much falls in the nickel range on this machine but the higher conductors bang out real clean.

Bounty Hunter LRP and QDP new editions:clapping:

I can't believe the depth and target crispness at depth. Great target separation and the concentric coil has no trouble at all identifying the steel bottlecaps that haunt DD coils. I'd put these detectors up against anything on the market right now. Bounty Hunter got it right with these two...

What's going on at Fisher (First Texas)?

All these new offerings from other mfgs. and not a word from Fisher. I thought First Texas had more engineers than all these other companies and some of the best to boot. Maybe First Texas isn't impressed with any of the competition but a whole slew of detectorists are starting to jump ship...

I just purchased a brand new Big Bud Pro!!!!!

It had never been put together and its beautiful. I put batteries in it and I can't believe how powerful this unit is. Its so nice I don't want to hunt with it. It air tests better than several of my much more expensive detectors and the tones are probably the best I've heard on any detector...

Looks like folks have caught wind of a new detector.

I've seen quite a few Blisstools and Deeptech Vista machines for sale in the last several days. I just wonder which company has some new units in field tests right now. I can't wait to see what comes out next. Of course I don't really know anything but these units going up for sale so quick just...

    V3i...yeah, I finally got a White's

I just sold my Etrac because my V3 has proven at least for me that it is far and away the more versatile detector. Maybe I got a hot one but it is just super fun to use and finds silver in hard hunted spots. I've messed around with all the settings and to be honest I've found the stock programs...

Has anyone tried a Fisher F2 coil on an F5?

I was just curious if it would work. I know the Omega coils can be used on the G2 and the khz are pretty far apart. They are much closer on the F2 and F5. Or are they so different inside that it wouldn't work? Any info would be great. Thanks, Shane

What can cause a detector to maintain its threshold but lose the ability to detect targets?

I'm curious because I have a detector that does this on occasion. I do not want to send it in for repair because I can't afford to right now and it isn't under warranty. Does anyone have an idea what can cause this and a possible fix without having to send the detector in for an expensive...

    First Etrac silver today.

I have found plenty of clad and have a good setup on the Etrac so I knew if I got over silver I would not be disappointed. Me and my hunting buddy went to an old drive-in that has been absolutely pounded by just about every make of detector for the last 2 years. There are plenty of low tones...

Anyone using the 8 in. concentric for the Etrac

I believe its a Detech coil. I just wanted to know if the target sounds are the same with the concentric. How about the duration of the signal length of tone etc...On some of my other detectors I can tell if I have a coin sized target by the size of the tone but I'm having trouble on the Etrac...

I just completed my first Etrac hunt and I have some??????

I dug maybe 5 coins and they were all 1960's and 1970's lincoln memorials. They rang-in at 11-40 or 12-39,40. I believe that is normal but I got several 12-43,44,45's that ended up being screw caps. My question is do screw caps usually sound like and id as silver dimes or am I doing something...
