    Todays Gold and Silver

    A little 10K today.

Hunted with my buddy OBN today. First spot wasn't producing so we tried another beach. After pulling up some wheat pennies I got a really low tone on the Excal. Pulled up a nice 10K ring complete with a stone. HH Mike

    I'm impressed!!!

Got a strange signal at 7 inches that read 12/22 and would hit at 12/38 every now and then. Dug the target and only found a piece of iron. Rescanned and nothing else was left in the hole. I took the piece of iron and swung it past the coil which resulted in the same reading. Since this was only...

At little over a week running the CTX

I had the CTX for a little over a week now and got out a total of five times. The first time out I went to a park I have been detecting for years. I picked the worst spot with a lot of iron and other trash that I just could not detect with the Explorer XS other than finding clad down to 3...

A few finds from this past week.

Last week's finds were on the slow side but I did get a few. Dirt is bone dry here in Maryland and it's tough to cut a decent plug with out it crumbling. Only one silver 2 inches deep 1964 Kennedy Half. It looks brand new except for one dirt spot. One nice 1900 Indian and 1937 buff. Also one...

    Dusted off the Explorer XS

I have not posted here in a long time. Well I dusted off the XS last weekend and found 11 Wheaties and a 1880 Indian. I was finding a lot of clad 5 inches deep. I knew there had to be some silver in this area but it might be just out of reach of the stock coil. I ordered a SEF 10 X 12 and it...
