Anyone hear from Terry Shannon ???

Sorry to hear that. One thing I wish would change with the forum. All forums for that matter. A phone number and or next of kin contact. Many of us have never met. Though good friends on the forum. Few of us are young and healthy anymore. A Way for the owner of the forum. Govner To reach out at...

    Out of the fight

If you start side pulls two Rules. Or any of the twisting movements. Start Very light. Like 5-10 lbs. It will seem easy. Though Your core is Not used to this. Can very easily injure yourself. Just the movement is enough to start. After a week or two. If it feels good. Increase a few lbs. Took...

I Think This Might Be The #1 Reason We Have So Much Competition Today

Maybe do a seeded dig for him. Put a few nice things in the ground. Invite him out. Just maybe you'll get him hooked. Another detector junkie.

    Finds from the river today....

I was thinking graphite too. Dug many on Erie shores. Sounds of real nice. Like silvers depending on size. Most of mine are oblong. Though I've never seen it porous. Nor still wet overnight. Possibly some coal coak ?

Why I wear boots in the water

Y'all's makin my toe nails curl. Yup. Boots all the ways. I always fear reaching down and snagging a hook thru my fingers. Especially when the line is snagged on something.

I Think This Might Be The #1 Reason We Have So Much Competition Today

I'm not seeing much of a change up here on the shores of lake Erie. If anything I'm seeing less of the old farts. The regulars. There's a few Erie regulars on here. Maybe their seeing something different. I can't detect presently. So I go up and park just watching.

I Think This Might Be The #1 Reason We Have So Much Competition Today

Ditto everything you said. Finding any information was both fun and frustrating. You either knew somebody or spent days at the library. Going thru books and magazines. My first detector in 74 was a RadioShack. Found pockets full of copper and silver coins. Had good finds most anywhere I went...

TID number for a Full Celtic Stator

Here's an overview. I worked the park. And east edge of the pond. Some care taker's let me detect when asked. Office people were not so kind. Haven't been there in over 20 years. I'm certain it's been plucked clean over the many years by hundreds of detector's. The buggy and walk paths were...
