Can a PI be deeper than a Deus 2

I did some testing using the Fisher AQ Pi against the Manticore. Amazing the Manticore did great against the PI on the drysand, but once I went into the saltwater (coil submerged) there was no comparison. I would say the PI in the dry was deeper but only a few inches, In the salt water at least...

Sorry I forgot where I had seen this post. This is the only picture I have of the work, I think all I did was put a jumper on this (RED) toggle? Been many years but I remember it was simple for the XS2..its the top.. middle picture. I ran the 2 lead cable out the back of the XS case using a...

He has closed it now and he loves his Nautilus but strange he never talks about them to me? I'll have to ask him when and how he got started water hunting, I know several...

    Coil wire...

There are a few numbers in this video, all from McMaster Carr. Only thing... none are shielded, and I can't say I ever seen any that were shielded that were used on BBS machines. I do know some of the older coils that were on the sword and the early Excaliburs did have 5 wires.. 2 were grounds...

Different Perspective – 20 Gold Rings of Yesteryear Equal to One Today!

Yes, it was a common way of hunting back then.. and not using the cuffs.. When I first started hunting Sandy Point in 2013 there were still a few of the oldtimers using CZ 20s the same way. They would have the box mounted on their belt with just the shaft and coil to search with... like in the...

Meet a guy named Ed and his brother John, many great stories of the 80s.. Ed still had his old machines.. I noticed them over in the corner and snapped a picture. Whites PI 1000 and a 3000 I think. Interesting the stories they shared the most gold rings they ever got in one hunt was 7. Back then...

Different Perspective – 20 Gold Rings of Yesteryear Equal to One Today!

So true and I like the way you think on that.. Could have been one of my post on someone who found a crazy amount of gold rings during the late 70's into the early 90's. In my research to hunt the Chesapeake Bay I talked to several older hunters who did hunt back in the late 70s to the 90s, I've...

XS2aPro is the easy one. GT, and the Elite were a lot more complicated. Good Luck I do have some pictures of mine done, and I have the files for the GT if needed.
