    where is the Sovereign users

Leeinak 03/14 2021 passed my Tech and General still waiting for the FCC official post. Looking forward LOL still a long time listener until my status is posted. Gives me more time to finish my antenna. There is a lot to learn. I've been detecting for 51 yrs. and at the start of Amateur Radio...

    Test Garden

I think a good coin garden can save wasted time in the field. It also works well to thin the heard, which sometimes the new machine may not measure up and get kicked to the selling block. Bottom line the coin gardens saves time, money and sharpens detecting skills. HH Ron

    Wireless headphones for Sov

A couple years ago I used the Quest system on my Sovereign, which seemed to be fine, but noticed my find's for deeper targets were down. One of the people on this forum reminded me he had problems with the Sovereign signals using wireless. I have a couple of coin gardens and used my Sovereign...

I know the feeling one year in NM I was going to find a Christmas tree. I hiked into an area for 3-4 miles and at the furthest point felt like someone was following or tracking me. I decided this was a bad idea and headed back to my car. On the way back stumbled upon a very old Spanish grave...

    Inexpensive Sov hip mount

My Sovereign hip mount doesn't require a y cord for my 180 meter RCA cord plug is on the box. The camera case holds both the meter and coil cord when stored. Photo of my two Sovereign. HH Ron

    Anyone been/felt threatened while detecting?

About 43 yrs ago I drove up Sandia Mountain off of I25 by the small airport. Drove up a long ways to a picnic area and decided to try this area. As I was getting ready to detect I noticed a mountain lion, huge just stood there looking at me. Never seen one of these before so I calmly walked back...

    Culpeper horse shoes

A good farrier could give you the information you need. Horseshoes are still made the same way as centuries ago. These could be old or recent.
