    hi folks i found a saddle badge in aberdeenshire scotland,with the name C.TROUP ABERDEEN.SADDLE MAKER. now there is no saddle maker in aberdeen scotland with that name,and when u google the info it comes up with usa calvery 1800+ date. i will load a pic once i find the damn thing again.

    2 years toddys digs

    mortar tail

    was out a couple oh weeks ago and found this little item, a mortar tail section dated 1935-1943. it was approx 9" down and lying on its side,just as well really as i wouldnt of liked to find the end that goes bang.

    tricked by a 5p coin

    during the last month or so myself and others have been helping out aberdeen uni, do an archeological survey in aberdeenshire, what we do is detect, find a target dig it and bag it and post a flag with the find ontop of the hole after we fill it in, so the arckie can gps the position. it keeps...
