I have just been refining my set up for Al trash sites. 5 kHz, 99DI, Notch 16-24 and 33-42. Gain around 60-65. KR24 or 18C coil.
I do not hunt this type of site often but this seem to work well for me. Work it slow & if you get a small peek at a good target it will report it. You have to go by tone which may not be clean. TID is all over the place if it is not an isolated target.

Thanks TX, i will give it a try. this was a old flea market at one time and it is trashy. I think there is some good finds there if i can get to them. flintstone
