Just spent last two weeks at a holiday resort and found 21 rings. 11 are gold , some have diamonds.
My scoop broke last week and I got it welded at the resort but it finally snapped off this morning.
Can’t complain I’ve had it for 20 years

Always good to find a place that has not been detected to death by others. Congrats!

i don’t remember what brand mine is but it has withstood a lot of punishment over the years.
I have a sunspot too but not a travel version.
Maybe I’ll look into getting a travel handle for that one .
Cheers

Eleven Gold is Great! And the excalibur is a excellent choice for hunting in the water!

Congrats on the rings. Yes the Excalibur is a Excellent water machine. I got one back in 1998 and she is still with me. I just wish I could get another 8 inch coil for it. :) Yeah

Yes , rocks can be difficult and frustrating. There’s a beach I sometimes hunt that is probably full of gold due to the vacationers but it’s rocky and the water a bit choppy . I’ve only ever recovered 2 gold rings there .

I do enjoy my excal , bought it used locally a few years ago for $900. It paid for itself first time out with it .
Previously used a CZ20 which was also very good but I dropped it and never got it repaired.

Love my Excals, Have an original Sword as a backup and an Excal II.
Just got a new scoop from Extreme Scoops, The titanium version with 54" extended on piece fiberglass rod. Pricy but nothing hurts this scoop and weights a little over 2 lbs..
