Anyone Want An Abyss ?

After we first published photos of our new #Abyss device, as I wrote a few days ago, we made some changes - the first of which was that we significantly reduced the power consumption, improved some other circuit solutions, and right after holidays we made another important change that many of you will stay satisfied, I hope
The device is deep and requires a slow movement of the coil, this is already clear and is VERY IMPORTANT. The device is not for novice searchers. And precisely because of this, from talking to some experienced metal detectorist, we know that most of them work almost in all-metal mode. And when necessary, they use discrimination.
That's why we've added a three-position switch to our new #ABYSS that will give you the following options:
- the switch in the position towards you - VCO variable sound controlled by discrimination and signal strength - the bigger the object, the louder the sound (higher or lower depending on the type of metal);
- switch in middle position - full all metal mode;
- the switch in the forward position to the coil - we'll call it "semi-all-metal mode". All weak signals will be with one tone, with a stronger signal - there will be discrimination - lower tones for ferrous and higher tones for non-ferrous signals.

Good choice and congratulations for VistaX.
ABYSS is intended as a relic unit. That's why we tested it with bronze appliques, a set of many coins, with copper plate and the only coin we tested with the ABYSS was 3cm in size.

I have got the Abyss out yet and tried it yet I can't comment as to its abilities... Richard
Didnt posted finds from Bulgaria until now, but one of our clients sent to me these photos with ABYSS. The 27 mm coin was found on 40 cm depth. Thickness of the coin - 2,2 mm, 10g weight.
