XP Deus ll 9” coil for water hunting

I have and use only the 9 inch coil. Do lot of water hunting (Lake MI mainly) and inland lakes. Also do a lot of brush and woods hunting looking for/at old CCC Camps and POW Camps in the state.. Works good getting between rocks, trees, brush.. I believe the 11 inch would be hard to handle in the waters of the big lake.

I find the 9 inch is better for water over the larger coils as the larger coils are a pain to drag through the water. But that is just me......others may think differently.
exactly what I believe

I have the Minelab Excalibur 800 with a 8 inch coil on it. I hunted for years with the 8 inch coil on it, then decided to have a 10 inch coil put on it. I hunted for a couple of months with the 10 inch coil, but had to go back to the 8 inch coil. Now I want another 8 inch coil on the Excalibur but can not find one...yet
