Willis tx. My family were first settlers in that area in little town called punkin off 150. 1830s. I need to get metal detector and look around old homestead

Y’all being on the topic of Willis TX
Here’s some finds on family old homestead and word of caution.
Here is some of my finds from are old 1850s barn. Axe head was found at spring. My grandma said union soldiers camped on property after civil war on our spring to police the area etc. others are some old tack of some sort and old plow head
Y’all think axe could be union soldiers? Too much scale to read anything.
On a side note
Just a FYI and warning
Place has big hairy bipedal basterds running around area now and I won’t stay past dark or camp out there anymore. Anywhere off highway 150 evergreen to cold spring etc. They scream and yell and whoop,howl in junction with the yotes usually and mimic owls. Seen em twice plus stole 2 deer I shot in middle of night and my biggest buck they chased into camp at 10am with 15 yards of me. Filled the buck full of 223 at close range and it disappeared after blood trail of 30 yards. y’all need to carry 44mag w/penatrator rounds or bigger in those woods/sam Houston nat forest. Preferably 45-70. Stay away from winters bayou after dark also. These things have abilities we cannot comprehend. Of you hear owls usually barred owls in middle of day plus deafening silence leave. I’m not BSing. You have to see one or hear one to understand the terror that will change how you go about in woods.
Last pics are when creatures twisted my game cam and caught one on background and they hair of the one that messed with cam
It’s mouth is open like blowing smoke rings and even had red eye from cam.
