Found the flattened ring on the pavement today the inner band read 18 k with some other letters or numbers cant make it out. If it is white gold im thinking its a $ good find too sell as gold weight

The only way to know for sure is to have it tested with one of those X-Ray guns. Go try and pawn it.

I'm guessing filled.
Though it's taken such a beating it's really hard to tell. As Donna said.
Get it scanned.

first thing to try....sorry it was a bust...Keep those eyes on the ground....something eventually will show up.

I found a very chunky gold earring in the parking lot not too long ago. Its out there but few and far between.
Last time I found a gold earring in a parking lot, it had to be more than 15 yrs ago, So it can happen.

Once walking back to the car, I spotted something sparkling in the blacktop. It was a marquis cut diamond.... turned out to fake.
Dam, it looked good !!!
