One thing folks may experience with 9” and 11” LF coils. Be worse with 11” coil imo.
Shallower targets expect to see some ID fluctuation. Coil size will drive. Hf 2 coil due to size ID will fluctuate far less.
Lifting coil slightly could help here with the bigger LF coils.
Or shorten sweep a lot over target.
Fluctuating ID when sweeping with LF coils could also be sign of a masker. Might be hard to hear with sudio even using full tones offset st 5-10.
Here’s where the hf 2 does extremely well. Using 88.3 kHz full tones high chance user will hear the masker in the audio. When checking a suspect target.
